Most of what TLDTrack does is included in your plan with no metering at all. Two things are metered instead: the deeper checks, which draw on scan credits, and SMS alerts, which draw on SMS credits. When you need more of either, you top up with a one-off pack rather than upgrading. This page explains how both work.

Your monthly included allowance
Starter, Pro and Agency include a monthly allowance of credits, shared across the deeper checks (security, SEO, accessibility, compliance, journey tests and URL insights), and it resets on the 1st of each month:
- Starter: 250 credits a month.
- Pro: 1,250 credits a month.
- Agency: 5,000 credits a month.
These are your baseline. For the vast majority of accounts the included allowance is plenty, and you never need to think about packs at all. Packs exist for the months where you do. For exactly which checks draw on this allowance and how each one is priced, see scan credits.
Credit packs
When you have used your monthly allowance and need more, you can buy a pack of 100 credits for £25, 300 for £60 or 750 for £120 ($32, $75 and $150 if you are billed in US dollars). The key thing about purchased credits is that they never expire. Buy a pack today and the credits sit on your account until you use them, however many months that takes. Because your monthly allowance is always spent first, a pack is only drawn down once the current month's included credits are gone.
Allowance first, pack second
Buying a credit pack
-
1
Open Billing and find the Monitoring credits card, or click the credits pill in the top bar.
-
2
Press Buy credits and choose a pack. You are taken to a secure Stripe checkout for the one-off payment.
-
3
Complete the payment. The credits are added to your balance and are ready to use.
-
4
From then on, once your monthly allowance is used, checks draw on these credits until they run out.
SMS credit packs
SMS is an optional way to receive alerts on a UK mobile number, on top of push and email, and each text message uses one SMS credit. Because sending a text has a real per-message cost, SMS runs on a credit balance rather than being unlimited. You top it up with an SMS pack, priced in pounds:
- 10 credits for £2.
- 25 credits for £4.
- 50 credits for £7.
Unlike the monthly credit allowance, SMS credits are a straightforward running balance: you buy them, they sit on your account, and each SMS alert sent draws one down. They do not reset each month. How and when SMS alerts are actually sent is covered in alerts and notifications.

Good to know
- Purchased credits never expire; the monthly credit allowance resets on the 1st of each month.
- Your monthly allowance is always used before any purchased credits.
- SMS credits are a running balance and do not reset monthly.
- Packs are one-off purchases, not subscriptions, so buying one does not change your plan or your monthly bill.
- If you regularly run out, it may be cheaper to move up a plan than to keep buying packs. See plans and levels.
