About TLDTrack

Built by an agency that got tired of finding out from clients

TLDTrack started as internal tooling at FullyCoded, a working UK web agency. It is still built by the same team that relies on it every day, on its own client sites.

01 · The story

A spreadsheet, then a script, then a product

FullyCoded is a working web agency based in the UK. We build and look after websites for real clients, design, development, hosting, all of it. TLDTrack did not start as a product. It started as a spreadsheet, then a script, then a proper dashboard, because we kept finding out things were broken from a client's phone call instead of from our own monitoring.

Every check in TLDTrack exists because something real broke on a client site first. Rarely a dramatic outage, mostly the quiet failures we kept finding the hard way: records that changed without warning, certificates that crept toward expiry, email that stopped arriving, renewals nobody was watching. We did not design a monitoring product from a list of competitor features. We built the checks we needed, one broken client site at a time, and then realised other agencies needed the same thing.

02 · The founder

I'm Mark Grice, founder of FullyCoded. I still do client work.

Mark Grice, founder of FullyCoded and TLDTrack

TLDTrack is not a side project I handed off to a product team. It is the tool I use every day to keep an eye on our own clients' sites, and every feature gets tested on our own portfolio before it goes anywhere near yours.

“Our email checks caught a broken SPF record before it tanked a client's deliverability. That is the moment we knew this was a product.”

Mark Grice, founder

03 · How we work

Three things we refuse to compromise on

Evidence over hype.

We show you exactly what changed and why, with the actual DNS record, the actual status code, the actual before-and-after. Not a vague "something looks different" alert.

You hear it first. Never the client.

That is the entire point of monitoring. Bad news should reach you before it reaches the person paying your invoice, not after.

Watch what pages say, not just whether they load.

Uptime tells you a site responded. It does not tell you the homepage is showing an error, a client edited out their own contact details, or a plugin update broke checkout.
