Ecommerce website monitoring

Your store is more than up or down. Watch every part that sells.

Ecommerce website monitoring watches the parts of a store that sell, not just whether it is up. TLDTrack checks your store every 5 minutes, runs journey tests through to checkout, watches prices and product pages for changes, and keeps SSL, DNS and malware checks in the same place.

01 · The problem

The site was "up" the whole time

A store can answer every request with a 200 status and still be losing money by the hour. These are the failures uptime tools are blind to.

The payment script that vanished

A theme update quietly drops one payment provider's script. Checkout still loads and orders still trickle in, but every customer who preferred that option walks away.

The promo that never ended

The campaign finished on Sunday. The homepage updated. The product pages kept the discount, and every order since has sold at a price that no longer applies.

The policy that drifted

The returns page says 30 days. Checkout says 14. Nobody changed either on purpose, and the first person to notice is a customer with a complaint.

Every one of these stores was "up". Every one of them was losing money.

02 · Five areas

Every part of your store, watched

Five areas where stores quietly lose money, and the checks that catch each one.

01

Product pages and prices

What quietly breaks

A theme update shifts a layout. A promotion ends everywhere except the product pages. A description gets edited and a claim slips out of line. None of it takes the site down, and none of it shows up in an uptime report.

What TLDTrack watches

  • Visual monitoring captures the pages that matter on a schedule and shows exactly which part changed.
  • Exact value watching reads the actual price or stock line on the page by its place in the markup, and alerts when the value changes, goes up or down, or crosses a value you set.
  • Plain-English AI rules like "tell me if any product on this page drops below full price", checked whenever a watched value changes.
  • Content monitoring checks the page source on a schedule, hourly to weekly, for the keywords, tags and headers you rely on.
02

Checkout and payment providers

What quietly breaks

Payment scripts are the classic silent failure. A theme or plugin update drops one provider's script and checkout still works, just with fewer ways to pay. Or a checkout API on a subdomain goes down while the storefront stays up, so the uptime monitor stays green.

What TLDTrack watches

  • Journey tests walk through the steps to checkout on a schedule, hourly, daily or weekly, and alert you when a step fails. Each run uses 5 credits. They stop short of paying.
  • Script checks confirm a payment provider's script is still on the page, as often as hourly, because keyword rules look inside scripts too.
  • Service monitors run health checks on checkout APIs, carts and subdomains separately from the main storefront, each with its own 90-day uptime record.
03

Policies and compliance

What quietly breaks

Returns windows that contradict the checkout. Cookie banners that vanish after a redesign. Accessibility that regresses with every new template. These are the changes that generate chargebacks, complaints and letters, and nobody notices until one arrives.

What TLDTrack watches

  • Compliance checks read your stated policies, then flag page content that contradicts them.
  • Accessibility audits run WCAG 2.2 AA checks on the pages you sell through, re-checked weekly.
  • Brand consistency checks logos, colours and fonts against your brand kit on the pages you choose.
04

Order and marketing emails

What quietly breaks

An email provider change breaks DKIM and order confirmations start landing in spam. Nobody complains, orders just quietly stop being confirmed, and the support queue creeps up. Sender reputation takes weeks to rebuild.

What TLDTrack watches

  • Email deliverability testing shows how a real order email arrives: SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, sender reputation and content red flags.
  • DMARC monitoring checks SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your sending domain every day and alerts you when one changes or disappears.
  • DNS watching alerts when MX or TXT records on your domain change, so a provider change does not go unnoticed.
05

Infrastructure and security

What quietly breaks

An SSL certificate expires on a Saturday. A DNS record changes at the registrar and nobody is told. A dependency picks up a known vulnerability. The storefront looks fine right up until it very much isn't.

What TLDTrack watches

  • Uptime monitoring with retry logic tuned for e-commerce edges like Shopify, so a transient blip doesn't page you at 3am.
  • SSL and domain expiry tracks certificates and renewals, with alerts well before anything lapses.
  • Security scans check ports, TLS configuration, exposed files and known vulnerabilities whenever you run one.
  • Malware monitoring checks your store against Google's malware and phishing lists twice a week.

03 · How it works

Up and watching in minutes

01

Add your store

Drop in your domain and TLDTrack reads its DNS records and certificate straight away. Nothing to install, no code to add.

02

Switch on the modules you need

Every module toggles on or off, so you only see the checks that matter to your store, and nothing you don't care about.

03

Get alerts where you work

Email, SMS, mobile push, Slack, Microsoft Teams or webhook. Alerts name exactly what changed and where, so you fix it before customers find it.

05 · Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom build?

Yes. TLDTrack monitors from the outside, the way a very attentive customer would, so it works with any platform: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce or fully custom. There is nothing to install and no code to add.

Will monitoring slow my store down?

No. All checks run from TLDTrack's own infrastructure. We visit your pages the way a customer would; we never add scripts or weight to your storefront.

How are the deeper scans charged?

Uptime, SSL, DNS and content checks are included in your plan. Visual checks use a monthly visual allowance. Journey tests, security scans, SEO audits, accessibility and compliance checks draw from a monthly credit pool that comes with every paid plan, with top-up packs if you run bigger audits.

Can a journey test place a real order?

No. Journeys go to pages, fill fields, click, choose options and check what is on screen, which takes you through basket and checkout forms. There is no payment step, and a captcha can stop a run.

Is there really a free trial?

Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial and your card is not charged for 7 days. If TLDTrack is not right for you, cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.
