What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT securely connect to outside tools. TLDTrack speaks it, so your assistant can read your monitoring data to answer questions. You never have to touch the technical side, just paste a URL and approve access.

Which assistants can I connect?

Claude (claude.ai and Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor, and any assistant that supports MCP connectors. Claude Code and Cursor can also connect with a simple API key.

Can my AI assistant change or delete my data?

No. The connection is strictly read-only. Assistants can look up your domains, uptime, scans, clients and tasks, but they cannot change, add or delete anything.

Is my clients’ data safe?

Yes. A connection is scoped to the single account you approve and sees only that account’s data. You can revoke any connected assistant instantly from Settings.

Does this cost extra?

No. AI assistant integration is included in every paid plan at no extra cost. It is not available on the Free plan.

Where do I set it up?

Create an API key or grab the connector URL from Settings, then follow the short setup guide. It takes about two minutes.
