Public status pages

A status page for every site you monitor

One public page per site, on a link anyone can open without an account. A status banner with the real counts behind it, stat tiles, a panel for anything needing attention, a 90-day availability strip, and one row per check with score bars and state chips.

of daily availability on the strip

Up to 3

real findings under a check, plus a count of the rest

01 · On the page

What is on the page

The page was rebuilt around the same visual language as the client report email, so a client reads one grammar in both places.

Status banner

The banner at the top states where the site stands right now, with the real counts behind it rather than a bare green tick.

Stat tiles

The headline numbers for the site, laid out as tiles under the banner.

Needs attention

Anything currently wrong is collected in one panel near the top, so nobody has to read the whole page to find the problem.

90-day availability strip

One block per day for the last 90 days, the same daily strip the report email uses for its period.

One row per check

Each check that has results gets its own row, with a score bar and a state chip.

User journeys

If you show them, the page reports how many journey tests are passing and names any that are failing.

02 · Visibility

You choose which checks appear, page by page

Turn a check off and it stays off that one page. Checks with no results yet never appear at all.

03 · Detail level

How much a visitor gets told

A status page is public. The default says a check found something and stops there.

Off by default

Each check reports its result and a count. The page says a check found something, not what it found.

Show what the issues are

Switch it on and the page also prints up to three real findings under a check, plus a count of the rest. Anyone with the link can read them, so put a password on the page first if that is not what you want.

Never security or malware

Security and malware findings are never detailed on a public page, on or off. Those checks show the result and a count and nothing else.

04 · Branding

Yours, not ours

One set of branding drives the client portal and the status pages, and the client report email on Agency plans.

Agency branding

Status pages carry your branding: your logo, your colours, your background, the same look a client sees in their portal.

Password protection

Set a single password on a page to keep it private, remove it to make it public again. The password is per page.

Email subscriptions

Optionally let visitors subscribe by email and be told when the site goes down, comes back up, has an SSL certificate expiring, or gets blacklisted.

Status pages are built per site. A client with four sites gets four pages, each with its own checks, its own password and its own link. Send them the ones they should see.

06 · Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is a status page per site or per client?

Per site. Each site you monitor can have its own public status page with its own link, its own choice of checks and its own password. There is no single page that merges several sites together.

What does the page actually show?

A status banner with the real counts behind it, stat tiles, a needs-attention panel, a 90-day availability strip with one block per day, and one row per check with a score bar and a state chip. Checks with no results yet do not appear.

Can I hide a check from a client?

Yes. Check visibility is set per page, so you can show availability and SSL on one client's page and add SEO, accessibility and PageSpeed on another.

Will the page tell people what is wrong?

Only if you turn that on. By default a check reports its result and a count. With "show what the issues are" enabled, the page also prints up to three real findings per check plus a count of the rest. Security and malware findings are never detailed either way.

Can I keep a status page private?

Yes. Set a password on the page and visitors have to enter it before anything is shown. Remove the password to make the page public again.

Are journey tests shown?

If you enable that check, the page reports how many journey tests are passing and names any that are failing. It does not publish the steps of a journey.

Do status pages use my branding?

Yes. A status page uses your agency branding, the same logo, colours and background as your client portal, and your client report email on Agency plans.
