Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions.

TLDTrack is built for any agency that manages domains on behalf of clients. That includes design agencies, branding studios, marketing agencies, SEO consultancies, web development shops, and digital agencies. If you manage client websites, email campaigns, or online presence - and need to keep track of the domains behind them - TLDTrack replaces your spreadsheets and scattered tools with a single dashboard.

Absolutely! Click the Book a Demo button on any page to request a 15-minute walkthrough. We'll show you the dashboard, monitoring features, client portal, and reporting tools. All plans also include a 7-day free trial, so you can sign up risk-free.

Plans are based on the number of domains you manage. Starter (£19/month) supports up to 50 domains, Pro (£49/month) supports up to 250 domains, and Agency (£149/month) supports up to 1,000 domains. All plans include the full monitoring suite - uptime, DNS, blacklist, SSL, email health, renewal tracking, and financial reporting. Pro adds client portal access, bulk import, and branded reports, while Agency adds multi-client management, white-label reports, and dedicated support. Need more than 1,000 domains? Contact us about Enterprise.

Every plan includes uptime monitoring (HTTP checks every 5 minutes with adaptive polling during incidents), DNS change detection across 6 record types with email alerts, SSL certificate expiry tracking, blacklist scanning against 12 major DNSBL databases every 12 hours, email health scoring (SPF, DKIM, DMARC validation), and automated domain renewal alerts. You get a single dashboard with traffic-light indicators showing the health of every domain at a glance.

Blacklist monitoring checks your domains against major DNS-based block lists and spam databases (such as Spamhaus, SURBL, and others). If a domain appears on a blacklist - whether due to previous misuse, a compromised email account, or spam activity - it can severely impact email deliverability and search rankings. This is especially critical for marketing and SEO agencies running client email campaigns. TLDTrack checks automatically every 12 hours and alerts you the moment a listing appears, so you can take action before it causes problems.

TLDTrack validates SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for every domain in your portfolio and produces an email health score (0–100). You can see at a glance which client domains have missing or misconfigured email authentication - the most common cause of marketing emails landing in spam. The domain detail page shows exactly what needs fixing, with actionable guidance on each record.

Yes. Our WordPress plugin uses a simple site key to connect client sites to TLDTrack, surfacing plugin health, theme update status, and PHP versions directly in your domain dashboard. WHM/cPanel integration lets you monitor disk usage, bandwidth, and account status across your hosting servers. All integrations are managed centrally - update branding or configuration once and it applies everywhere.

Yes - multi-client management is a core feature. You can create separate client organisations, assign domains to each client, and invite client users with read-only portal access so they only see their own domains. Agency plan users can generate branded PDF reports with their own company details. Staff members can be given appropriate access levels without seeing other clients' data.

Yes. TLDTrack supports bulk CSV import. Upload a CSV with your domain names and any additional details such as purchase dates, acquisition costs, or registrar. Our import tool auto-detects common column formats and lets you review everything before confirming. WHOIS data, DNS records, and SSL status are fetched automatically after import.

TLDTrack's financial reports are designed to support your management accounting and bookkeeping workflows. They clearly separate domain acquisition costs (capital expenditure) from renewal costs (operational expenditure) and export to CSV for use in accounting software. AI-generated domain valuations are also available as a supplementary portfolio insight tool, but these are estimates and should be reviewed by a qualified accountant for formal financial reporting.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We are GDPR compliant and UK customers' data is stored in the UK (AWS eu-west-2 region). Enterprise customers can discuss custom data residency arrangements.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period - we don't charge cancellation fees and there's no minimum contract. We also offer a 7-day free trial on all plans.

Enterprise is for organisations managing more than 1,000 domains or with specific requirements around data residency, SLA guarantees, or custom integrations. Pricing is tailored to your needs. Get in touch using the form above and select "Enterprise Plans" as the subject.
