Add the domain to TLDTrack

In your TLDTrack dashboard, navigate to the domain you want to connect. If you haven't added it yet, add it now - it takes under a minute.

Generate a site key

Open the WordPress integration panel on the domain page and click "Generate Key". You'll get a unique site key that links this domain to your TLDTrack account.

Download and install the plugin

Download the TLDTrack plugin below and upload the zip directly through WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Activate it - no extra configuration needed.

Paste the site key

Is the WordPress plugin free?

Yes, the plugin is free and included with every paid TLDTrack plan. There are no usage limits or premium tiers for the plugin itself.

Does it work with WordPress multisite?

The plugin is designed for standard WordPress installations. For multisite setups, install the plugin on each site you want to connect to TLDTrack.

How often does data sync?

The plugin reports twice a day, and straight away after an update, a plugin being switched on or off, or a theme switch. You can also press Refresh Data in the plugin settings at any time.

Will it slow down my website?

No. The plugin is lightweight and runs health checks in the background. It has no impact on page load times or front-end performance for your visitors.

What does it alert me about?

Plugins installed, removed, updated, activated or deactivated, admin accounts added or removed, and updates you send from the dashboard that fail. A new admin account is a critical alert.

Can I run updates from TLDTrack?

Yes, with plugin version 3.3.0 or later. Queue a plugin, theme or core update for a site and the plugin runs it through WordPress’s own updater, then reports back. TLDTrack does not take backups, so take your own first.

Do I need a TLDTrack account to use the plugin?
