Page speed monitoring

Catch the change that made your site slow

Page speed monitoring tracks how fast a site loads over time, so a slow-down does not go unnoticed. TLDTrack runs Google PageSpeed Insights on each site’s homepage every week, on mobile and desktop, keeps a 90-day trend, and alerts you when a score falls below the minimum you set.

01 · Metrics tracked

The metrics Google rates pages on, tracked over time

LCP

Largest Contentful Paint

How fast the largest visible element loads. Target: under 2.5s.

INP

Interaction to Next Paint

How fast your page reacts to clicks & taps. Target: under 200ms.

CLS

Cumulative Layout Shift

How much the page jumps as it loads. Target: under 0.1.

Each run also keeps TTFB, First Contentful Paint, Total Blocking Time, Speed Index, page weight, and the four Lighthouse scores: Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO.

Lab and field. The weekly Lighthouse runs are lab data: the same page, tested the same way, so changes stand out. Lab runs rarely include INP. The TLDTrack tracking snippet adds field data: LCP, INP, CLS and TTFB measured from your real visitors, 75th percentile over 30 days, split mobile and desktop. See Core Web Vitals monitoring.

02 · What you get

What you get

Weekly checks

Mobile and desktop PageSpeed Insights runs every week for each site you switch it on for. You can also run one extra check a week per site.

Score floor alerts

Set a minimum score for mobile, desktop or both, anywhere from 1 to 100. When the latest run is below it, you get an alert.

A 90-day trend

Scores and timings are kept for 90 days, with the change since the previous run, so you can see when speed slipped.

Fixes to hand over

The Lighthouse opportunities, ranked by the time they would save, with image savings and passing audits. Hand it straight to your developer.

04 · Questions

Frequently asked questions

How often do PageSpeed checks run?

Weekly for each site you switch it on for. You can also run one extra check a week per site from the dashboard.

Mobile or desktop?

Both. Every check produces separate mobile and desktop scores, so you can follow whichever device matters most for your audience.

Is this Lighthouse or CrUX data?

The scheduled checks are lab data from Lighthouse runs, the same engine behind Google’s PageSpeed Insights. We do not use CrUX. If you install the TLDTrack tracking snippet, you also get field data measured from your own visitors: LCP, INP, CLS and TTFB at the 75th percentile over 30 days, split mobile and desktop.

Does it alert me when my website gets slower?

It alerts when a score falls below the minimum you set. Set the floor just under your current score to hear about a real slow-down.

Which page is tested?

The homepage. For figures across the whole site from real visitors, add the tracking snippet.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 7 days, and your card is not charged until day 8.
