Chrome extension

Your monitoring, right on the page

The TLDTrack Chrome extension puts your notes, issues and monitors in a side panel next to any client site you look after. Leave notes on the exact page, highlight accessibility and compliance issues where they happen, and create visual monitors by clicking an element, no dashboard tab-switching, no CSS selectors.

01 · Why

Work on the page, not in a tab

Reviewing a client site is faster when what you need is right there on the page you are looking at.

Notes where the work is

Leave a note or a to-do on the exact page you are viewing. It appears in your dashboard sitemap the moment you save, keyed to that page.

See the issue, not a list

Pull up the accessibility and compliance issues for the current page and highlight the exact element or text on the live page, so you know precisely what to fix.

Monitor without selectors

Point and click any element on the page to start watching it. No writing CSS selectors, no screenshots, the extension generates a stable selector for you.

A side panel, not a pop-up

It lives in Chrome's side panel beside the page, so it never covers what you are working on, and everything you do syncs straight back to TLDTrack.

02 · Setup

How it works

01

Add it to Chrome

Install the TLDTrack extension free from the Chrome Web Store. It works in Chrome and Chromium browsers like Edge and Brave.

02

Connect your account

Click Connect and authorize once from your dashboard. The token is stored securely in your browser and can be revoked any time.

03

Open any site you monitor

Browse to a client site in your account and the side panel shows that page's notes, issues and monitors automatically.

04

Work in context

Add notes, review and highlight issues, and click elements to create visual monitors, all without leaving the page.

Everything mirrors your dashboard: the page sitemap, accessibility and visual monitoring.

03 · Panel

What you can do from the panel

The same records you have in TLDTrack, surfaced where you are actually working.

Notes & tasks per page

Leave notes and to-dos on the exact page, synced with your dashboard sitemap.

Review issues in context

See the accessibility and compliance findings for the current page at a glance.

Highlight on the page

“Show on page” draws a non-destructive overlay on the exact element or text a finding refers to.

Point-and-click monitors

Click an element to watch it: text change, price up or down, presence or an attribute.

No CSS selectors

The extension generates a stable, self-healing selector for the element you pick.

Your sites only

Works only on the domains in your account; every action is scoped and secure.

One-click connect

Authorize once from your dashboard; revoke access whenever you like.

Always in sync

Notes, issues and monitors are the same data you see in the dashboard.

05 · Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the extension free?

Yes. The TLDTrack Chrome extension is free with every paid plan; you just need a TLDTrack account to connect it, and it works with the sites you already monitor.

Which browsers does it support?

Chrome, and Chromium-based browsers that support Chrome extensions such as Microsoft Edge and Brave. It is built on Manifest V3 and uses the browser side panel.

Does it work on any website?

It works on the domains in your TLDTrack account. Open a site you monitor and the panel shows that page's notes, issues and monitors; it will not surface data for sites you do not manage.

What can it access, and is it secure?

The extension only talks to the TLDTrack API using a token you authorize from your dashboard, stored securely in the browser and revocable at any time. It does not read or send pages you are not monitoring.

How do I create a monitor from the extension?

On any page you monitor, click the element you want to watch, then choose what to watch for (text change, price up or down, presence or attribute) and how often.

Do the notes and monitors sync with my dashboard?

Yes. Everything you do in the extension is the same data as in TLDTrack. A note added in the browser appears in your dashboard sitemap, and a monitor created by clicking an element runs like any other visual monitor.
